Meet the start-up that’s using AI to suggest emojis

HelloWoofy is aiming to bring the assistance of automation to social content creation for small businesses. The company announced a new integration with social media management platform Hootsuite Friday.

The integration enables HelloWoofy to sit on top of the veteran management platform, which connects with more than 20 social networks and has some 18 million users.

COVID-19 causes spike in spending on collaboration tools

A recent survey by 451 Research finds 50% of organizations are spending more on communication and collaboration technologies since the COVID-19 pandemic began.

The survey also found that nearly 80% of organizations surveyed confirmed they have implemented or expanded universal work-from-home policies and a third of organizations expect work travel to be reduced by 80% or more in the fourth quarter of this year.

Why we care. Collaboration tools continue to be the rule, not the exception in work environments. As widespread use continues, teams managing these platforms, especially if they are based in marketing operations, will need to create processes and expectations much like any other component of their stacks.
