Matt McGee, Editor-In-Chief
Matt McGee is the Editor-In-Chief of MarTech Today. His news career includes time spent in TV, radio, and print journalism. After leaving traditional media in the mid-1990s, he began developing and marketing websites and continued to provide consulting services for more than 15 years. His SEO and social media clients ranged from mom-and-pop small businesses to one of the Top 5 online retailers. Barry Schwartz, News Editor
Barry Schwartz is Martech Today’s News Editor and owns RustyBrick, a NY based web consulting firm. He also runs Search Engine Roundtable, a popular search blog on very advanced SEM topics. Barry Levine, Martech Reporter
Barry Levine covers marketing technology for Third Door Media. Previously, he covered this space as a Senior Writer for VentureBeat, and he has written about these and other tech subjects for such publications as CMSWire and NewsFactor. He founded and led the web site/unit at PBS station Thirteen/WNET; worked as an online Senior Producer/writer for Viacom; created a successful interactive game, PLAY IT BY EAR: The First CD Game; founded and led an independent film showcase, CENTER SCREEN, based at Harvard and M.I.T.; and served over five years as a consultant to the M.I.T. Ginny Marvin, Paid Media Reporter
As Third Door Media’s paid media reporter, Ginny Marvin writes about paid online marketing topics including paid search, paid social, display and retargeting for Martech Today, Marketing Land and Search Engine Land. With more than 15 years of marketing experience, Ginny has held both in-house and agency management positions. Tim Peterson, Social Media Reporter
Tim Peterson has been covering the digital marketing industry since 2011. He has reported for Advertising Age, Adweek and Direct Marketing News. A born-and-raised Angeleno who graduated from New York University, he currently lives in Los Angeles. Jessica Thompson, Associate Features Editor
Jessica Thompson is Associate Features Editor at Third Door Media. She is a well-rounded digital media enthusiast with a keen interest in all things internet marketing. Jessica earned her B.A. in English from Drew University and has since gone on to fill a wide variety of roles over the course of her career, including web designer, copywriter, editor, SEO consultant, online marketing specialist and marketing manager. Formerly, she was an associate editor at PBS MediaShift, where she contributed to Digital Content Next’s Intelligence Report. She’s also worked for CNET, GigaOm and Wired magazine.
Liz Craig, Copy Editor
Liz Craig is a copy editor for Third Door Media. Prior to joining us, she was a writer/producer for ad agencies serving B2B and B2C clients before becoming a freelance writer and marketing consultant. She recently was a proofreader/editor for Bull’s-eye Financial Communications.
Elisabeth Osmeloski, Director of Audience Development
Elisabeth Osmeloski is Director of Audience Development for Third Door Media. She is responsible for increasing readership through owned, earned and paid media channels.
